Once again, sg has failed to deliver on the big stage. The general consensus will be we brk the 44 yr jinx since tan howe liang won the silver medal esp both susilo n jiawei usurp the world no.1s respectively... well 4 yrs later... Maybe maybe, if jiawei realli won the gold medal, we might hv a public holiday to commemorate this special achievement.. IF only...

Hm, nothing much happened during the national day, only went out with zy and gum for a simple meal and few games of pool.. didn't watch the national day though. Although read on donny's blog this year very significant, it seemed the same to me. Sing song, performance, parachute, march past, then fireworks, what's new? Unless you are watching there live, or involve in the performance, ah, then that got difference.

I participated in the 97 NDP parade though, every week need to go down rehearsal, but still, we got free kentucky chicken to eat haha, i still remember on the actual day performace, when running out to the field that time, i slipped and fell haha, lucky sky already turn dark, no one noticed..

My birthday post! I'm getting old already.. Haiz.. Anyway, celebrated my birthday with my bunch of secondary sch frens.. Yeah, although we meet up lesser times nowadays due to work, school, activities, plus the fact that i'm the only 1 studying in NTU.. but still me we make it a point to celebrate one another's birthday evry year.

Met up with Gum 1st in the afternoon, yeah n had a smashing game of pool at mambo billards. Quite long never play, abit rusty, but still had some skills left in me haha... Met up with the rest of guys around 9pm at Harry's Bar..

Well, due to the price of the beers haha, need to give some consideration to my wallet, decided to relocate to Geylang to have some tian ji porridge. Didn't regret the decision though, all meals n drinks on me.. but that was really good stuff from there. I haven't been to geylang to eat for 1 year since the FOC camp i went.. Ya.. after that, we decided to recce the geylang place out haha..
Can't imagine myself doing that.. We strolled along the streets, passing by those "red light districts". Wow, its was an eye-opener since i was nv there b4.

It was really like a "human mkt". All the girls paraded themselves on the streets, and the streets were full of ah peks and banglas.. No wonder i read the newspaper that all those china girls went to heartlander areas to look for potential targets.. judging from the crowd there, it was no surprise they had to find business elsewhere. 1 thing i find quite disturbing was the age of some of them. 2 girls i saw, no older then 13, doing all kinds of funny actions to attract ppl. Somehow, feeling abit disgusted but oso pity them at the same time. Do they really need to resort to this sort of business? Somehow or rather, we are really much much more fortunate than them. World is unfair..

As the night is still young, went to Can's cafe bugis afterwards to have some drinks n talk cock session. It was a nice breakaway from school work n all the stuff.. On a lighter note, was pleasantly surprised that both my ex actualli remembered my birthday.. Haiz, as i tink back, i was spending my birthday with the 2nd 1 last year, and i really tot we could last. But, ren sheng wu chang, shi yu yuan wei, tings often dun turn out wat u want to u wan it to be. and i actualli bumped into her on friday b4 the acct lect outside the MLT. The world is really small. Didn't really talk to her and i haven't met her for almost 1/2 a yr.. Haiz! Talking abt her is realli xin1 suan1.

On a lighter note, they had actualli wanted to get a Real jersey n print "Vieira" with no.4 on the back. haha, lucky they din.. becos i believe he will stay at Arsenal! yeah! They got me a France jersey which i tot was an Italian jersey at 1st haha.. Thanks guys!
